Recently, I reflected on My Year of Running to Work. There was a lot of positive feedback about my experiment, so I imagined it might be helpful to curate some resources for people who might be interested in trying it themselves.

I never imagined I was the only person who did such a thing, but even I was blown away by how many others have tried and written about it before.

  • Mirel Ketchiff’s piece in Shape Magazine is well worth the read for those who might attempt such a thing in New York City (without a shower, to boot)
  • Runner’s World, of course, has also published some practical guidance for a running commute
  • Meg Lappe’s reflection on her own experiment is both useful and at times, laugh-out-loud funny. You should read it!
  • Just here for the videos? I gotcha?
